Why should we hire a Photo Booth or Magic Selfie Mirror?+

Both the Photo Booths and Magic Selfie Mirrors are a hot new trend at any event. Not only are they incredibly fun and entertaining for your guests to use, but they create amazing memories of your special event. As soon as your guests see that there is a Photo Booth or Magic Selfie Mirror at your event, there is no stopping the fun. No one can resist our Photo Booth or Magic Selfie Mirrors. The possibilities are endless and everyone will remember your party because of it.

Can the Photo Booth or Magic Selfie Mirror be used outside?+

Not normally as our Photo Booths & Magic Selfie Mirrors require a covered location as electricity and water don’t mix and you can never guarantee the British weather! They are absolutely fine in a marquee as long as there is a relatively flat, solid floor and power from a normal 13 amp socket. However, please contact us to discuss the exact location to be used and we will endeavour to support your event.

How big is your Photo Booth & Magic Selfie Mirror ?+

Our Photo Booths can easily accommodate up to 6 people. The external dimensions are:

What does your Photo Booth look like?+

Our Photo Booths are oval shaped and the skins are Chesterfield in colour which together are very pleasing to the eye. They have simple and clean lines ensuring that they blend in well with any environment. Custom colours or branded Photo Booths can be supplied at an additional cost.

What type of camera do you use?+

The Photo Booth and Magic Selfie Mirror is equipped with a Canon DSLR 24.1 mega pixel camera that will provide high resolution pictures and can video tape in High Definition resolution. Professional studio lighting is used in all of our Photo Booths & Magic Selfie Mirrors to ensure great lighting, immaterial of the environment.

What type of printer do we use?+

We use a professional sub-dye printer, the Mitsubishi CPD70DW model. Our photos are of the highest quality, take seconds to print and are touch dry as soon as they land in the tray! The print options are personal and will be selected by you prior to the event taking place.

Will there be an attendant during the event?+

Yes. We provide a qualified and trained professional (booth buddies) with each Photo Booth & Magic Selfie Mirror hire, who will complete the set-up process and help out where necessary, allowing you to relax and enjoy every moment and every photo.

Do you provide props?+

A large selection of props will be provided and is included within the cost of your hire.

Can my guests upload to social media?+

Of course! We have social media software installed directly into our Photo Booths & Magic Selfie Mirrors that allows your guests to upload directly to their page by providing simple information. Wi-Fi must be available on site to enable social media uploads.

The Photos

What is the picture quality like?+

The quality of our photographs is excellent. We only use top of the range, professional, studio quality camera equipment to ensure that not a detail is missed on your photographs and prints.

What size photos do the guests receive?+

As standard we print double photo strips (2 copies 2" x 6" traditional photobooth style) although we can also offer 6" x 4" prints and custom layouts on request. The actual layout of the shots can be personally chosen by yourself prior to the event.

Are there any restrictions on the number of prints during our event?+

No, your guests may enter the booth an unlimited amount of times during your hire period, as fast as your guests can strike a pose the booth will produce the photos. Your guests will receive a free personalised print, and an additional copy will be printed to include in a photo album should you wish.

Can I Personalise Photos?+

Yes you can! We have a range of different print styles, with the ability to add text, frames and much more to each one of the photographs, making it that bit more personal, special and unique.

Can we choose black and white, colour or sepia photos?+

Of course. Our new touch screen system allows the users to choose between black and white, colour and sepia photos for each sitting.

How does the guest book work?+

The Photo Booth prints out two (or more) identical copies of each photo strip. One for your guests to keep as a memento and one to pop in the guest book or your own album. Guest books and Photo albums are available for an additional charge.

Do I get a copy of the photos?+

Yes. We will provide you with a high resolution, digital copy of all photos/videos at the end of the night (placed on a USB stick) before we leave your event, along with your photo album.


How close to my event should I book?+

Bookings are taken well in advance, therefore to secure your date we would advise that you book as soon as your event is confirmed, particularly during peak seasons and weekends. We will always try to accommodate last minute bookings depending on availability.

Where are you physically located?+

We are located just outside of Lincoln, in Lincolnshire (LN3 5XF).

What venues can you attend?+

We can set up in any venue as long there is a flat surface to locate the Photo Booth or Magic Selfie Mirror and access to a 13A electrical socket (within 10 mtrs of your preferred booth location).

What area do you cover?+

We primarily cover all locations throughout the counties of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire but will travel longer distances, as/when required. Travel is free within 25 miles of our base (LN3 5XF). We then charge 75p + vat per mile after that. Contact us with the postcode of your venue for an accurate quote.

Can I book a Photo Booth or Magic Selfie Mirror without confirming the venue?+

Yes, we will accept a deposit upon a date only without confirming the venue.

Can the Photo Booth or Magic Selfie Mirror be set up at an earlier time prior to our booking?+

Yes, these are referred to as idle hours as the booth is not in operation and will be charged at £50 + vat per hour.

When do you set up the Photo Booth & Magic Selfie Mirror and how long will you need?+

The set-up time varies, just like venues. However, it usually takes around 1hour for the Photo Booth and 30 minutes for the Magic Selfie Mirror, so we will make sure we arrive at the venue in plenty of time before the start of your hire to allow us to setup and be ready. The setup and break down time is included as part of your hire time. Please let us know if there is anything at the venue that could extend the setup time, such as long distances from the delivery point to the setup point, parking restrictions, security checks, etc. This way we can arrange to arrive a little earlier. Be aware, the Magic Selfie Mirror can only be used on the ground floor unless there is a lift available within the premises.

My venue has requested a risk assessment, insurance and PAT test certificate?+

We are happy to supply you with a copy of our Photo Booth risk assessment along with a copy of our insurance certificate. All of our equipment is brand new (Dec 16) and does not therefore, require PAT testing to be carried out.

Are You Insured?+

Can’t believe you doubted us! We have public liability insurance (£10m) and employers’ liability insurance (£10m).

What if something goes wrong?+

As with all events sometimes things do not go according to plan, but it is very rare. We carry spares of kit and would be happy to stay later if there was as issue getting started. Also, we love your feedback so if there’s something you think we could improve on, we’d love to hear from you.

Do we have to sign a contract?+

Not necessarily - By booking one of our Photo Booths or Magic Selfie Mirrors and placing a deposit, you automatically agree to abide by our T&C's, however for peace of mind we normally send out a booking agreement.


How do we pay?+

On booking, we will send out a booking confirmation detailing event details, timings, costings, contact details etc. We request that this detail is confirmed along with a deposit of 25% (non-refundable). We will then send your confirmation letter to you. The cleared balance is due at least 14 days prior to the event. We accept payment by cheque (with enough time for it to clear) all major credit / debit cards or BACS. A full receipt will be provided.

Do I have to place a deposit before the event takes place?+

Yes. A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your event. The remaining balance will be due at least 14 days prior to the event taking place.

Will my deposit be refunded if I have to cancel the event before it takes place?+

If you want to cancel your event we can’t refund your deposit but we may be able to give you a credit so you can hire the booth at a later date.

Post Event

What happens once the event has finished?+

After each and every event:

Prior to leaving the venue, we will ensure that you are provided with the following:

  • A high resolution, digital copy of all photos and videos recorded throughout your event on a USB stick.
